At the heart of the “Fail“ project is a philosophical approach to creativity that questions the traditional pursuit of defined goals and results. This approach, characterised by an attitude of letting go, opens up a space in which the creative process itself becomes the focus, free from the shackles of preconceived expectations. I set off on an intuitive journey through the creative process with an old analogue camera and no previous knowledge of analogue photography. This journey was not driven by a desire for perfection, but by an openness to the unknown and a deep appreciation of the present moment. Every encounter with failure served as a springboard to new insights that paved the way for innovative results. The resulting photo book is not just a collection of images; it is a tribute to the process and a manifesto of creative freedom.

Each image was taken, developed and digitised by me, without any subsequent digital post-processing. The printing process and bookbinding were realised by external service providers.
