About
D.A.S. is a collective and runs an offspace in interim use in Zurich Manegg, which I co-founded and have been co-managing ever since. We have been using a room in an old factory to run a club since summer 2022. Our collective organises events every month with a varied musical programme that includes concerts, live sets and DJ sets on two floors. The larger floor (100sqm) is mainly dominated by electronic dance music genres such as techno, while the second floor (30sqm) offers a contrasting programme with a focus on experimental music. So far, over 150 different artists from all over Switzerland and a few other countries have performed at our venue. On average, 300 people come to our events. Together with the rest of the collective I am jointly responsible for the musical curation and organisation of the venue.

D.A.S. Foyer
In the foyer, a spacious balancing zone (200 square metres) that connects the two floors, workshops, installations and knowledge exchange take place during the parties. Together with Jill and Mariia, we curate, design and organise this space. The “Paraclouds“ are permanently installed; they interrupt the large space, provide a place of retreat and a specifically allocated location for installations, workshops, etc. My aim is to create a comfortable and creative space during the events that encourages visitors to participate in the design of joint installations, workshops, etc.
So far, we have realised the following workshops, activities and installations: patchwork workshop, candle making, beauty store, write a letter get a letter, games, build your one D.A.S. world, radio station, light installations, mini gallery, collabarotions with external participants and more.
